Our team is made up of experienced entrepreneurs from the free-to-play gaming sector, avid gamers, and specialists in Blockchain technology. Our CEO, Oliver Löffler, has an impressive history in the gaming world, having co-founded Kolibri Games, a successful gaming company that was later acquired by Ubisoft.

🎨 Key Responsibilities

• 2D Asset Creation
  • Design and illustrate 2D characters, environments, icons, and other assets that align with our game’s visual style.
  • Develop high-quality concept art that guides the overall artistic direction of the game.
  • Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure that all assets enhance the player experience.
• UI/UX Design
  • Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that elevate the gameplay experience.
  • Design menus, buttons, icons, and HUD elements that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Ensure the UI design is consistent across all platforms and devices, providing a seamless player experience.
• Pixel Art & Animation
  • Contribute to pixel art creation and frame-by-frame animations, particularly when a pixel art style is required.
  • Use Aseprite to design and animate pixel-based assets as needed, maintaining visual coherence with the game's overall style.
• Asset Integration into Unity
  • Prepare and integrate 2D assets and UI elements into Unity, ensuring they function seamlessly within the game environment.
  • Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and optimize assets for performance and visual quality within Unity.

🎨 Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 2D artist or UI designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in 2D asset creation and UI design.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar.
• Experience with pixel art creation and frame-by-frame animation, particularly using Aseprite.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and how they apply to game design.
• Excellent artistic skills, including a keen eye for color, composition, and detail.
• Proficiency in integrating 2D assets and UI elements into Unity, with a solid understanding of the game development pipeline.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with blockchain gaming and Web3 is a plus, but not required.
• A deep passion for gaming and a solid grasp of gaming culture.
